After a triumphant screening earlier this year at the Sundance Film Festival and continuing to turn heads over at the Cannes Film Festival, Lee Daniels’ drama, “Precious: Based on the Novel “Push” by Sapphire” is generating SERIOUS heat with it’s upcoming release.

The film is even generating some early Oscar buzz for comedian Mo’Nique whose performance as the hateful mother is earning her a legion of industry supporters. Executive produced by both Oprah Winfrey and Tyler Perry, the film is a vibrant, honest and resoundingly hopeful film about the human capacity to grow and overcome.

Starring newcomer Gabourey “Gabby” Sidibe as well as Paula Patton, Mo’Nique, Mariah Carey, Sherri Shepherd and Lenny Kravitz, “Precious: Based on the Novel “Push” by Sapphire” opens in theaters on November 6.

The trailer is gripping, intense and full of emotion and fire! If the film is HALF as good as the trailer, Daniels’ may have another film (remember “Monster’s Ball) that will have everyone talking during awards season!

That leaves plenty of time to get one of Hollywood’s original, “Phat Girlz” some serious award attention!
