The lovely Nia Long sat down recently for a interview with RollingOut TV to discuss several issues near and dear to her heart. In an industry built on glitz and glamour, Long not only posesses both but also a deep understanding of who she is.

The 38-year old New York native has been getting done with style, class and beauty for almost two decades. An addition to her acting talent, Long has also occasionally directed music video. For many of her male fans, the sight of Long in such films as “Soul Food,” “Love Jones,” “The Best Man,” “Big Momma’s House,” and “Are We There Yet?” has only heighten the absence we feel during her recent transition to more activity behind the camera.
During her interview, Long discusses Hollywood’s inability to see the true beauty in all women of color, her transition to the business side of the industry and the pride and possibilities for her son in the election of President Barack Obama.
It’s not often that we get an opportunity to see artists relaxed and actually discussing something of merit, honestly and forthright.
We have a SERIOUS “Love Jones” for Nia who has been away far to “Long!”
