Trailer Park | Heroes: Season 3

14 08 2008

One of my favorite shows will return to television in a little over a month. After a summer of comic book super heroes films, it makes perfect sense to continue that trend in the fall with the return of the third season of NBC’s runaway hit, “Heroes.”

For the uninitiated, the sci-fi drama tells the stories of ordinary individuals who discover that they have superhuman abilities, and also explores how these people adapt to the changes these abilities bring, and their roles in preventing catastrophes and saving humanity. Emulating the aesthetic style and storytelling of American comic books, “Heroes” uses short, multi-episode story arcs that build upon a larger, more encompassing arc. With story ideas mapped out for the next five season, creator Tim Kring and the writers are prepared to give chills and thrills to the fans for the foreseeable future.

The show lost some momentum because of last season writer’s strike, but is poised to return to greatness in the coming season. This season, the show’s Villians’ may finally get their opportunity to shine – and that’s definitely not a good thing.

For more information, visit the official “Heroes” website.

“Heroes” begins its third season, Monday, September 22 on NBC.
