Trailer Park | WALL•E

24 06 2008

Since its inception in 1995, Pixar is synonymous with success. The studio has released eight films that have all have either been nominated or won Academy Awards. Their latest film, “WALL•E” is poised to keep that streak alive.

“WALL•E” is the story of the last little robot on Earth. He is a robot and his programming was to help clean up. You see, it’s set way in the future. Through consumerism, rampant, unchecked consumerism, the Earth was covered with trash. And to clean up, everyone had to leave Earth and set in place millions of these little robots that went around to clean up the trash and make Earth habitable again.

There is little traditional dialogue in the film. To create dialogue, the filmmakers took various mechanical sounds, and combined them to resemble dialogue.

For anyone with doubts about this film, just remember that Pixar has never let their audiences down in the past and surely won’t with this latest film.

“WALL•E” opens nationwide this Friday.
