From the team that brought you “Training Day,” the stiffest leading man in Hollywood, Keanu Reeves patrols Los Angeles mean hoods in the upcoming drama, “Street Kings.”
Reeves plays Tom Ludlow is a veteran LAPD cop who finds life difficult to navigate after the death of his wife. When evidence implicates him in the execution of a fellow officer, he is forced to go up against the cop culture he’s been a part of his entire career, ultimately leading him to question the loyalties of everyone around him. Featuring a cast that includes Oscar-winner Forest Whitaker, Cedric the Entertainer, Common and The Game, “Street Kings” looks like another “Training Day” for Reeves.
Clearly, King Kong ain’t got nothin on these “Kings.”
“Street Kings” comes to theaters on April 11th.
