Murphy Finds Her Man in Strahan

What is about women and New York Giants football players? First, there was Ashanti dating linebacker Antonio Pierce, then there were Selita Banks and Osi Umenyoria sightings. Not be outdone is Nicole Murphy, the ex-wife of actor Eddie Murphy, who recently spoke to People magazine about falling in love with her current squeeze, Michael Strahan.

Murphy who divorced the comedian in April 2006 said, “When I got divorced, I said never again, but some time has passed since Eddie and I split, and I know now what I want in a man: communication and shared interests. Michael and I talk about everything, and we both love to travel, explore and laugh.”

Even though her ex has been in and out of tabloid trouble since their split, Nicole still has nothing but nice things to say about him.

“Eddie is a wonderful person and a good father,” she continues. “But we obviously had problems in the marriage. I tell my friends that opposites may attract but that kind of early excitement doesn’t last. Find someone who shares your passions and interests.”
