Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas and all-star cast of musicians and actors get together to salute Senator Barack Obama in the music video, “Yes We Can.”

Inspired by his second-place speech from the New Hampshire primaries, “Yes We Can,” was recorded over two days featuring cameos from Common, John Legend, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Aisha Tyler, Scarlett Johanssen, Hill Harper, Tatiyanna Ali and Harold Perrineau and Private Practice’s Kate Walsh.

Reportedly, Senator Obama is a fan of the video and recommended it to reporters on his campaign plane after he watched it Saturday for the first time. The clip is now on Obama’s Web site with a form so people can share it, and the video was played before supporters Sunday at a UCLA rally headlined by Oprah Winfrey.

“It was as if he was talking to me,” said. “It was as if he was talking to and defending everything that made me who I am. I took that speech, and I wanted everyone else to be inspired by that speech as I was.”

It appears that Senator Obama’s uplifting message of hope and unity is resonating within the entertainment community creating a 21st century political “We Are the World” moment in time.

With eight dark years of political leadership, can Americans make the right choice this November by choosing “Obama for President?”

Yes We Can! said he was inspired to create the song and video while watching Obama’s speech after his second-place finish to Sen. Hillary Clinton in the New Hampshire primary.
