Depp Does the Mad Hatter in Disney Overhaul of Lewis Carroll Classic
Charles Lutwidge Dodgson (1832-1898), aka Lewis Carroll, was the prolific author of numerous children’s fantasies written in a surreal style known as literary nonsense. But he only wrote two books about his most popular character, Alice, namely, “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” and its sequel, “Through the Looking Glass.”
The trailer for Heath Ledger’s final film has been released and it looks like the late Oscar-winner’s final film experience will be a trippy, adventure-filled romp not only notable for being the last film the talented actor worked on but for the collaboration of his close friends Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell and Jude Law in the color fantasy, “The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.” Read the rest of this entry »
